Soundation
Ah, music. Who doesn't love it?
Ever since I was a kid, I have dreamed of being a pop star. I have loved singing and writing for as far back as I could remember. I kept a diary solely for the purpose of writing songs. Unfortunately for me, while I was quite talented at singing and decent at writing, I simply could not play an instrument to save my life. I swear, I have two left hands. In 8th grade I had to graciously accept a C in band class, supposedly an "easy A" for every other student, because I simply could not move my fingers fast enough to the beat of the music. I felt the beat. I could hear it. I simply could not get my body to respond fast enough.
I thought I could never make music because of this. Thankfully, technology saved the day!
This track isn't perfect. I am not even proud of it. However, I literally spent 36 consecutive hours this weekend writing code. My brain is fried and this is all I can come up with. The hardest part of this process was learning how to use Soundation-- there definitely is a bit of a learning curve. Plus, my PC wasn't cooperating and I could barely hear the music I was making. Hope you enjoy it regardless.
