Photo Grid
I have to admit, I loved the idea of the Bercher Grid. From the moment I saw the work our professor shared with us in class, and I got a chance to look at the work of other students, I knew this would be a project I would greatly enjoy.
It turned out to be a lot more difficult than I imagined it would be.
I wanted my idea to be unique. I was initially planning on taking a picture of scarves, because I am a hijabi and I have quite a few of them. However, after browsing through the examples provided, I realized that idea had already been done before...so I decided to take pictures of my earrings instead.
I do not have a lot of round earrings (I prefer angular ones), so finding 16 pairs was difficult for me. Instead, I decided to just take 9 photos. This meant I had to do some (simple) math on my own and figure out the proper margins for everything. My photographs aren't the best quality as I once again took them from my Moto G4 Play. The biggest difficulty I faced was spacing; even with the "spacers", I found it difficult to ensure all the pictures were aligned properly. I really like how some of these pictures turned out and I put my favorite one in the middle.
Hope you enjoy the result!
